Sonia Kohli and Adam Farley will be married September first, 2018

Adam and Sonia first met in Boston after Sonia graduated from Boston College. Adam grew up in Boston and still has family in the area. After several years in Boston, Sonia began graduate school at Medical University of South Carolina. She enjoyed returning back to Charleston where she previously spent a portion of her childhood. During graduate school, Adam and Sonia greatly enjoyed exploring the food scene in Charleston. Adam proposed to Sonia the weekend of Sonia's graduation on the waterfront!

After Sonia graduated, they moved to North Carolina and now live in Durham. Sonia and Adam enjoy traveling down to Hilton Head to visit her family and her dog, Cotton. They also enjoy flying back up north to spend time with family in Boston and New York.

Flying in

The closest airports are Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) and Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH). We would recommend Savannah/Hilton Head International as it generally has better rates, more direct flights, and is not significantly farther from the venue.

We would also highly recommend renting a car for the weekend. While there are ride-sharing services on the island (Lyft/Uber), a car is recommended to enjoy the great restaurants, beaches and golf courses.

Location

The wedding will take place at the Colleton River Club (located 60 Colleton River Drive Bluffton, SC 29910). The surrounding area includes historic Bluffton, numerous beaches and is close to Hilton Head island.

Accommodations

We have reserved rooms at The Hampton Inn in Bluffton, SC and The Hilton Garden Inn in Hilton Head, SC. Both are close by the venue by car. Each has a special wedding rate and will be held until July 29, 2018. Please book well in advance as Labor Day weekend is still tourist season in Hilton Head.
